Jack's mother Ronnie was surrendered to the Animal Welfare League in August 09. She had two male companions (Cheeky and Bailey who are also available for adoption). It was no surprise to find Ronnie was pregnant. Fortunately she had just one baby, and that is the beautiful Jack. Jack is a quiet little boy, not one to dash around but more inclined to sit and contemplate his life and dream about life beyond the shelter. While he awaits adoption he is sharing a run with seven other piggies so is well socialized and happily accepts new friends. He was desexed at six weeks of age which means he can be paired with a non-desexed female.
Please go to the ADOPTING PAGE and read "POINTS TO CONSIDER BEFORE ADOPTING A GUINEA PIG" and view the ADOPTION CONTRACTbefore contacting the shelter in regard to adopting.
The shelter is open each weekend between the hours of 10am and 3pm. Adoptions, surrenders and all other visits are by appointment only.
